DISTILLERY WOOD LOOP - 2km
Enjoy the local wildlife and enjoy this walk up the hill into Distillery Wood - part of Melfort Estate.
Route description
Starting in the centre of the village at Mill View, head north and take in views of the Tomatin Viaduct before heading left onto Station Road. Follow the track across the moorland with views of the Tomatin War Memorial. Take the forest path past Melfort House and capture a glimpse of red deer, squirrels, rabbits and birds of prey along with far reaching views of Strathdearn. Follow the track downhill back to Old Mill Road.

TURIN NURIN WOODLAND WALK
Take in spectacular views as you walk through Melfort Estate from Turin Nurin Cottage
Route description
Starting at Turin Nurin Cottage, follow the track back uphill taking in views of the loch and the Allt Neacrath Valley. Continue in a northern direction and enjoy spectacular views across Strathdearn and the Findhorn Viaduct. Pass Melfort House and enjoy far reaching views over Tomatin Distillery before reaching the moorland at the end of the track.

Route description
Starting at Mill View, follow the main road through the village and pass by the JP at the Strathdearn cafe. Continue through the village passing local farms and paddocks. Cross the Findhorn Bridge and enjoy views up and down the Findhorn. Take the road to Raigbeg and continue along under the Findhorn Viaduct, before crossing the River Findhorn once more and returning back to the village.

Route description
Starting at 'The Strathdearn", follow the road under the Tomatin Viaduct and continue onto Station road. Pass by the old Tomatin Railway Station before crossing over the Allt Na Frithe (also known as Freeburn). Turn into the Distillery and continue past the bonded warehouses before bearing right. Continue until the road end and then take woodland path adjacent to the road once you pass the A9 slipway prior to following Station Road back.

Route description
Starting at the Tomatin Viaduct, follow the Tomatin 5KM route passing "The Strathdearn" and taking in views of River Findhorn and the valley. Pass Findhorn Bridge, FIndhorn Viaduct, Tomatin House, Tomatin Distillery, Allt Na Frithe and the old Tomatin Railway Station before finishing back at "The Strathdearn".
